The Friends of the Games Lounge is the place where guests from all around the world meet to share knowledge, have stimulating dialogue and create new business opportunities.

 

In 2018, the FoG Lounge will be present at the Winter Games in Pyeongchang, the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Gold Coast

 

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games – 11 unforgettable days of world-class sporting competition!

 

All eyes on Australia! From 4-15 April 2018, the country will host the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, one of the largest elite multi-sport events in the world, equivalent to staging 15 world championships simultaneously. The Games will be the biggest international sporting event staged in Australia for a decade and the largest ever hosted by the Gold Coast.

 

Almost 7000 athletes and team officials from 70 nations and territories will come to Australia for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, which will also feature a comprehensive cultural and festival program.

 

The majority of competition will be held in a mix of new or upgraded, existing and temporary venues.

Pyeongchang

 

The Friends of the Games Lounge at the Winter Games 2018 is designed to support solution providers, broadcasters, OB companies, decision-makers, media and other professionals involved in the second Games ever held in South Korea. Here, they are able to share knowledge, discuss best practices, and have a stimulating dialogue on how the technology for sports events has changed and what can be expected in future.
